Welcome

So that Paragould daily encounters the real Jesus

Welcome

We are convinced that Jesus is good news for our city in every way. Beyond the sometimes familiar message, the real Jesus longs to rescue the brokenness that's all around us and transform our everyday lives. We believe this. We want to live in light of this. And we'd love for you to enjoy the guilt-shattering love of Jesus with us.

Vision

We exist so that every man, woman and child in Paragould will have a daily encounter with the real Jesus.

Fellowship Bars

Mission

We believe that by establishing one MC per 1,000 people we will help people to have a daily encounter with Jesus through word and deed.

Gather, Go, Grow, Give

We scatter to be the church through Missional Communities

Gather, Go, Grow, Give

We scatter to be the church through Missional Communities

We gather weekly on Sunday morning to meet with God and celebrate all that Jesus is for us. We are sent out, empowered by the Spirit to share and show the gospel with our city. CLICK HERE for times, location and what to expect.

We believe a missional community (MC) is a family of missionary servants seeking to make disciples who make disciples. An MC is not primarily a bible study, weekly meeting, self-help group, or a social activist group. Though elements of each are often experienced in an MC (i.e. we will go to Scripture at times for teaching, reproof, correction, and training as when necessary for equipping in good works- 2 Tim. 3:16-17.). An MC is not only any one of those things. MC’s are where we together worship and submit to Jesus in all of life (7 days out of each week) by learning to love one another as family, serve the “least of these” in our midst, and be a witness to the good news of Jesus Christ.

Grow

Everyone in Fellowship is encouraged to be part of a triad of believers called Fight Clubs. By the leadership of the Holy Spirit we help one another to: Discover Jesus in the Scriptures, Nurture the truths of the gospel in our hearts, and take Action to obey what Jesus calls us to. These groups (three people of the same gender) meet weekly to share what they are learning and how they are growing as believers in Jesus. This is a time to care for one another and bring deep account- ability into each other’s lives.

Give

We are a people that share our time and resources. This means we help to serve our
body in all the areas mentioned above. We are both free and gifted to do this. Free, because Jesus as King served us with his life, so that we can now serve others with His love and power. Gifted, because God, through Jesus, has made us and given us each unique personality and gifting so that we can bring glory to him by serving others in our community. This means we are generous with our money and our possessions in order that the world can be blessed. We are free to do this because God has shared his greatest riches with us by giving us his Son Jesus.

Our Identy: Who We Are

Family

We are children of God who care for each other as a family.

We are God’s chosen people – His family – set apart to live in such a way that the world would know what he is like. Through faith in Jesus we believe we are Children of God and brothers and sisters with each other. As God’s family we see it as our obligation to personally care for the needs of one another – both physically and spiritually. We disciple, nurture and hold each other accountable to Gospel life together. (Genesis 12:1-3; John 1:12-13; Romans 12:10-16)

Missionary

We are sent by the Spirit to restore all things to God through Jesus Christ.

God sent Jesus to Earth to take on human form and live within the culture. He lived in such a way that those around him could see and experience what God was truly like. Jesus came so all people, places and things could be restored to a right relationship with God. In the same way, we believe we are missionaries sent by God’s Spirit into our culture to restore all things to God through Jesus. We live this out through involvement in a missional community. (John 1:14; 20:21; Colossians 1:19; 2 Corinthians 5:16-21)

Servant

We are servants of Jesus who serve Him by serving others.

Fully God & fully human, Jesus took on the posture of a servant. He gave his life, even unto death, so that others could experience salvation, peace and restoration. Jesus said, “I am among you as one who serves...” All those who follow Jesus are called to serve in the same humility. For us this means joyfully submitting to Jesus as Lord, to the leaders he has placed over us and to each other as we also serve whomever God brings into our lives. We do whatever He leads us to do. (Matthew 20:25-28; 25:31-46; John 13:1-17; Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Peter 2:16)
